Samantha Mohr
Mohr was one of the UGA student. She entered her first pageant, after having been suggested by a friend. She won Miss Columbus 1985. The title made her eligible for to compete in the Miss Georgia pageant in June 1985. Mohr won The title Miss Georgia 1985, on Saturday 22nd June, 1985. She earned more than $3,500 in scholarships and other awards from the pageant. In her role as Miss Georgia she was involved in speaking engagements throughout the state of Georgia. Mohr the Georgia representative attended Miss America 1986, Atlantic City, New Jersey in September 1985. Mohr predicted the likelihood that Susan Akin would win Miss America using computer models. The odds of winning were 22:1. Mohr did not appear on the list of the top 10 contenders for the title of Miss America. Mohr's time as Miss Georgia continued until Marlesa Ball was crowned Miss Georgia 1986.
